Jeff Vann's Facebook memory, brought back to mind the definition of Systematic Theology taught to us by Dr. David A. Dean (DAD). "Systematic Theology is that science which derives truths concerning God from Scripture and formulates them into a connected body of doctrine."

Did you hear that, "truths concern God"! From where? Scripture. So what could possibly be my excuse for not studying God's word? We are all seeking "truths concerning God." We often say we need answers........won't our questions be answered with "truths concerning God." I bet more that I can even fathom would be.

I fall so short of being the disciple of Christ that I need to be. So short.
