Wednesday

It is raining! Yeah! We had been getting very dry here in NC, so it was nice to see a slow, steady rain when I woke up this morning. I hope it will help the plants in my front yard - they were looking a bit weak.

I am feeling a bit better and stronger since my surgery. I made it almost a full day at work yesterday, and am well on my way to another full day today. We have meetings on Thursday and Friday, so we are off to the races as another school year begins!

J.R. is adjusting to his new location. He transferred to the Mallard Creek quarry last Thursday (the day of my surgery). The office is much closer to home - it will save him about 40 miles a DAY! It will be nice to see what kind of change that brings to our gas bill. He is working to make the office his own, but change can be hard, and he is taking it a little at a time. I am sure he will whip it into shape in no time!

Michael is babysitting at our house today! Little Tyler is his buddy and they seem to be having a good time so far. He will be babysitting for him all week next week, so this is a good glimpse at what that will be like!

Matt is at camp this week, and I have heard from him a couple of times. We hope he is having a good time, though he sounded a little down yesterday!

Well, lunch is over, so I must get back to work! Love to all!
